How to enjoy our Italian Farm Baskets
Each week we feature fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs depending on what is fresh and ripe that week. We also include one Artisan Bread item per basket theme (Ciabatta, 10" Pizza Doughs, and Fig/Honey Triangle Loaf) plus Old World recipe ideas so you can enjoy your own family recipe or one from our VRGF Recipe Page. We also feature Italian gourmet specialties (honey, olive oil, loose leaf teas, and sauces) on Saturdays at our farmstand from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
You can order additional artisan bread for Saturdays if you order by the prior Thursday by 12 noon here.
We suggest that you order your first basket to "test drive" our offering so you can appreciate the value of our fresh vegetables and how our program works. Just order online above and then come by on Saturday in San Clemente for pick-up. Then, if you want, you can join our 6 or 12 week basket program (and save some moolah).
We send emails out to let you know what we will feature in our basket each week. If you sign up for multiple weeks, you have the weekly choice to delay your basket for another time. We appreciate all the schedule changes that happen these days and our online software order system keeps track of everything for you. You can also order additional items like bread and honey and they will be included in that week's basket. You can even change your pick-up location as we add them to our system.
We do reserve the right to make last minute substitutions that might occur due to weather and harvest times on our end. It's Mother Nature that determines the perfect picking time.
